This three volume limited edition collection were published by Graphitti Designs under license from Marvel from November 2000 to November 2001. Each volume (10.5 x 7 inches or 26.5 x 17.5 cm) is limited to 2500 numbered printings and comes with faux-leather hardcover with a mat fully illustrated dust jacket. The stories are reprinted on white glossy paper (pages are thicker than the original comics). The regular paperback were published starting from May 2002. For these reprints, the coloring and separations have been reworked: Marie Javins with Colorgraphix/Velazquez/Giarruso/Herrera for volume 1, Steve Buccellato for volume 2, and Steve Buccellato with Clarissa Marrero for volume 3.

Daredevil Visionaries: Frank Miller Volume 1




Published in November 2000 (ISBN: 0-936211-63-0, 177 pages, cover price 39.95$), this first volume displays a red faux-leather hardcover under an exclusive contemporary dust jacket cover by Frank Miller.

All three volumes share the same second and third of cover illustrations and are numbered on one of the opening pages featuring an exclusive contemporary illustration by Frank Miller. My copy of volume 1 is numbered #2377 and displays a one page introduction written By Frank Miller





This first volume collects the classic Daredevil series #158 to 161 and #163 to 167 (May 1979-November 1980). All stories are drawn by Miller. Roger McKenzie is credited for the scripts of issues #158 to 166, Frank Miller being credited as co-plotter from #165. Script of issue #167 is only credited to David Micheline.
Original covers are reprinted but a little bit trimmed.
There is no bonus section in this volume but a special bonus pin-up appears just before issue #165, an unpublished version of the cover of daredevil #164 by Miller and Janson.

Daredevil Visionaries: Frank Miller Volume 2




Published in April 2001 (ISBN: 0-936211-65-2, 360 pages, cover price 39.95$), this second volume displays a blue faux-leather hardcover under an exclusive contemporary dust jacket cover by Frank Miller.




My copy of volume 2 is numbered #1999 and displays a one page introduction written by Diana Schutz (dated November 2000).





This second volume collects the classic Daredevil series #168 to 182 (January 1981-May 1982). All stories are drawn and scripted by Frank Miller.
Original covers are reprinted but also a bit trimmed.
There is no bonus in this volume.










Daredevil Visionaries: Frank Miller Volume 3




Published in November 2001 (ISBN: 0-936211-69-5, 272 pages, cover price 39.95$), this third volume displays a black faux-leather hardcover under an exclusive contemporary dust jacket cover by Frank Miller.




My copy of volume 3 is numbered #0706 and features a one page introduction written by Klaus Janson (dated March 2001).






This third and last volume collects the classic Daredevil series #183 to 191 (June 1982-February 1983). All stories are drawn and scripted by Frank Miller. Roger McKenzie is credited a co-writer on issue #182. Klaus Janson is credited as penciller, inker and colorist from issue #185 to issue #190. Issue #191 is inked by Terry Austin and coloured by Lynn Varley. This volume also contains What If? #28 (August 1981, co-scripted by Mike W. Barr), What If? #35 (October 1982, inked by Terry Austin) and Bizarre Adventures #28 (September 1981, B&W all art Miller, some pages are printed out of order, the reading order is as follow: page #1, 2, 3, 6, 4, 7, 5, 8 and 9).
Original covers are reprinted but still a bit trimmed.

There is 3 pages gallery section in this third volume from the Elktra Saga TPB and the cover to The Daredevil Chronicles, an anthology published by Fantaco in February 1982.
